Named by Variety magazine in 2002 as one of 20 Significant International Women in Film and Television and as the inaugural Australian Independent Producer of the Year" by the Screen Producers Association of Australia in 2001, Posie has worked in the Australian film and television industry for the last 25 years as an editor, director and producer on hundreds of prime time television programs, including the number one Australian drama series McLeod's Daughters.
Like her mother, Posie is an accomplished novelist. She is the mother of 3 children, and lives in Sydney, with her husband/creative partner, Andrew Blaxland. She is currently touring the U.S., promoting her newest novel, 'The Uncrowned Queen', which was released on June 6, 2006.
